Program Information
Camp Jericho is structured by age into groups of up to 12 campers. The groups participate in camp activities in periods of approximately 45-60 minutes. Each activity area is led by a counselor/lifeguard experienced in that area. Our new multi station playground & swings are a nice improvement. We also continue to expand our camp hiking trails with a new 2 mile trail that gives the hikers a closer view of the wind turbines. Our Rock Climbing Wall at the YMCA provides for an exciting challenge for all the campers to foster selfconfidence, self esteem and trust.

Activities
Swimming, Basketball, Archery, Low Elements Ropes Course, Arts-n- Crafts, Soccer, Volleyball, New Games, Nature Hiking, Outdoor Cooking, Boating, Canoeing and Fishing (camper must supply own fishing equipment and bait). Fun themes are incorporated by the staff each week to make the camp experience one that will last a lifetime! We will again be offering the Character Camp - overnight for those children exhibiting the YMCA core values - and the "Getaway Weekend Trips"(See details below)

Before/After Camp Care
The YMCA offers a before/after camp care program for families requiring extended care. Parents must preregister and prepay. Before Camp or After Camp Care is $35 per session per child. Camp Staff
We are pleased to have Robb Garrand, "Mr. G," back for his 10th season as Camp Director for Camp Jericho. Robb is the Principal at the Rouses Point Elementary School, Director of the NCCS Outdoor Education Program, and is the boys varsity basketball coach. Allison Vosh will again Direct the Camp in Robbs absence. Allison is a special education teacher at the Beekmantown Middle School. Chris Baker will also be returning as Health Director and Trip Leader. In the past few years we have seen more returning staff which has been a big plus for the overall operation and quality of the camp program.
