Our adult pool exercise program offers a variety of classes for you to choose from, based on your needs, style and swimming ability. Each class is a little different, but all of them include expert instruction and loads of fun.
Aqua jogging is a great cardiovascular workout that’s easy on your muscles and joints. The class involves deep water exercise, where everyone wears a buoyancy belt for a zero-impact workout that simulates running in the water.
Aqua Fit is a flexible program where members can choose their own intensity level for cardio and strength training. We provide water barbells, noodles and other equipment as you exercise to music at either end of the pool.
Deep Water Fitness
Wrap up your workday with a water exercise class led by our certified and experienced instructors. Along with the cardiovascular benefits you’ll also improve flexibility and muscular endurance with this no impact workout. Some swim skills are required.
Our scuba diving program is offered in the fall and spring, taught by certified volunteers who love the sport and want to help people learn safely. This program runs approximately 8 weeks and includes classroom lectures, in-pool skills and open water check-out dives. The successful completion of the course results in a SEI (Scuba Educators International) certification.
