PROGRAM INFORMATION

Our school sites are registered and licensed in the State of New York. The after school sites will participate in craft projects, gym games, outside play, homework time, cooking, field trips, free time, and a recreational swim at the YMCA once per week. Each site has a scheduled swim day during the week. The YMCA will provide the snacks for all after school sites. Those who would like to bring a snack to share with the group for birthdays or any occasion are welcome to do so. Discuss this with your site director.

TRANSPORTATION
The YMCA will provide transportation from Oak St. School to the Senior Center. The YMCA also provides transportation to the schools from the YMCA in the morning. On swim days the YMCA bus will pick up and return children for swimming. Other transportation needs may be accommodated (check with the director). The YMCA bus drivers must go through a driver orientation and drive the bus prior to transporting the children.

ALL DAY PROGRAMS
All day programs are offered at the Senior Center during school holidays and vacations. The program runs from 6:45 AM to 5:45 PM. The fee is $17 per child for Y’s Time participants and YMCA members, and it is $24 for non-members.

MEDICATIONS
Any child in need of medication should receive it at home or in school if at all possible. The YMCA staff is not qualified to dispense medication.
